Alcohol Service Policy

  1. Alcohol is permitted to be served at Sugar Woods. However, Sugar Woods does not have a liquor license and does not purchase or sell alcohol. Lessee is responsible for the purchase of their own alcohol.
  2. No glass bottles (beer/wine coolers, etc.) are permitted on Sugar Wood's property. Kegs of beer are permitted and the client is completely responsible for all aspects associated with this provision. Placement of kegs inside the building is at the discretion of the business manager.
  3. Operation of a cash bar requires a temporary liquor permit. Sugar Woods can assist lessee with contacting the Ohio Department of Liquor Control at least three weeks prior to the event.

Catering

  1. Sugar Woods allows groups (client) to self cater their event. This means that lessee can bring in their own food, set up, serve and clean up. All refuse is to be placed into the dumpster at the end of the evening. There are no cooking facilities on the premises. Client is responsible for their own ice. The freezer holds approximately 30 bags.
  2. All caters are required to sign a caterer's agreement with Sugar Woods and follow all clean-up policies established at Sugar Woods.
  3. If any extra or unusual clean up is needed (i.e. excessive wedding cake, beer, soda spillage), it will be billed to the client at a rate of $25.00 per hour.
  4. The cost of any missing, broken or damaged equipment will be billed to the client. It is up the client to ask the caterer for reimbursement if the caterer is responsible.
  5. Caterers should make themselves available for a set-up appointment.

Cleaning

Cleaning services are available at a rate of $50/hour with a 3 hour minimum.

Set-up/Take-down Services

Sugar Woods can provide set-up and take-down services at an additional charge as follows:

  • Up to 50 guests - $50.00
  • Up to 100 guests - $100.00
  • Up to 150 guests - $150.00
  • Up to 200 guests - $200.00
